Square leaves movie business
After disappointing ticket sales of Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within, Square has made the decission to close down there newly appionted Square Pictures studio. FF:TSW was expected to do well in Japan,but after North America's failing, It didnt do well in Japan either. Ticket sales were just over 102 million, and the cost to make the movie was 180 million. The loss has affected Square, and they are not planning to make movies in the near future.
